The Beat goes on.....
The WNEX material has been in a storage unit for ten years. I went looking for it all after hearing about the death of Bill Powell back in December. I don't have much related to Bill and WMAZ but I did find all this WNEX stuff.
WBRO Pictures I took another road trip. This time looking at a dark station. Fresh pictures from John Quincy WPTB Statesboro This is a reprint of an article from BME magazine in 1976. Big images they will load slowly. Look for PD Len Perna in the airchair at WPTB and Ron Armistead in front of the transmitter in the same picture.
