This button was made up just before the Bryan Street studios burned.  


The WBYG Gates board

 

The WBYG board was a four pot Gates. The white knob on the right was for the studio microphone. Next to the right was the control room microphone. The next two pots handled most  everything else; turntables, Mutual network, 

 

To cue records, tape machines, the network, whatever, you selected the source for one of two pots, then turned the pot fully counter clockwise..
