The Goodtimer Radio Pages
Disc Jockey radio from the mid 50's through
the early 80's
|

Did you ever hide under the bedsheets
with a transistor radio listening to AM stations from faraway, |
|
|

For me it was WLS and WCFL from
Chicago, WHAS in Louisville, WLW, and WWL and many more. Plus a whole other group of
stations came in during the day. Here at Tybee we got WAPE and WPDQ from Jacksonville,
WTMA from Charleston and from, Savannah WSGA, The
Goodtimer.

old. |

A lot of us started at
WBYG then moved over to WSGA when the chance came. Jerry Katz Les Allen, John
O'Neil, and Danny Coleman all made the trip before me.
